My name is Natalia Kudela and I have been running my Polish native language baking blog, Mała Cukierenka, for more than 10 years. Baking and preparing desserts are my passion. On the blog, you’ll see a combination of classic recipes and original recipes that I’ve developed after lots of testing and experimentation.
Now I’ve decided to recreate this blog in English. The result is the blog you’re reading now: Little Patisserie. It’s no ordinary collection of recipes, but an expression of my love of baking, one which I wish to share with you.
I love all pastries and sweets. I collect and love books, magazines and newspapers on sweet-related topics (especially in English, that’s my weakness :)). I attend culinary courses and workshops and try to do so regularly. They motivate me and allow me to keep building my skills, all while introducing me to new, interesting people who love baking and sweet treats as much as me.

I’ve attended training courses by master confectioners and various specialists in cake decoration, cake design and English-style baking. Here are some of the courses and learning I’ve undertaken:
- Five-day masterclass training in decorating English-style cakes at The Cake Parlour, with award-winning wedding cake designer Zoe Clark, in London (last year Zoe Clark went to Australia)
- Training led by master confectioner Mrs. Bożena Sikoń
- A one month-long internship in London with Zoe Clark
- Training led by world champion young pastry chef Michał Doroszkiewicz and master confectioner Tomasz Deker
- Training courses by the following cake decoration specialists:
- Cake artists Dorothy Klerck (Eat Cake Party),
- Cake designer Natalia Da Silva
- Cake designer I Pasticci di Molly
- Sugar artist and instructor in Royal icing Kelvin Chua.
My experience also extends to supporting training courses by specialists in the industry. Out in Malta, I assisted Zoe Clark at the training course ‘Perfecting Cakes’, a course on English-style cake decorating.
